ABOUT MARK RONDEAU

Mark E. Rondeau is a a jouranlist and activist who lives in North Adams, Mass. 


He is an editor-report for a newspaper in southern Vermont. He is co-founder and board president of the Northern Berkshire Interfaith Action Initiative. This initiative, founded in 2010, runs a food pantry, a ministry emergency voucher system, and sponsors a service for mental illness recovery and understanding every year. It also holds monthly public meetings.


Mark is very interested in religion, local history, politics, social activism, literature, music, hiking and the outdoors, photography and more. He was won several awards for his journalism and has been published in such national magazines and America, Commonweal and U.S. Catholic.


He is working on a book about Pope Francis.
